e*ECAD Offering Temento Systems FPGA Debugging and Verification Tool

Santa Clara, Calif. - Dec. 10, 2002 - e*ECAD, Inc. announced today that it has signed a software and distribution partnering agreement with Temento Systems. Temento Systems is now offering its FPGA debugging and verification tool, DiaLite Instrumentation (DLI), to FPGA designers available with Subscription or Perpetual licenses through E*ECAD's online sales channel. Board and FPGA designers now have a cost effective way to speed product time-to-market by easily debugging logic against DiaLite Instrumentation.

DLI enables on-FPGA debugging and observability by using embedded instrumentation. Built with leading-edge technology, DLI actually embeds the logic analyzer, bus traffic analyzer, pseudo-random generators, glitch detectors, triggers and other cores into the design. These cores allow measurement of all internal signal behavior within the FPGA. DLI is enabled to target any type of FPGA from vendors on the same board including Xilinx, Altera, Lattice, Quicklogic, etc. Developed with an intuitive graphical user interface, FPGA designers can save significant debugging effort, while receiving immediate display of true measurement results by using DLI Core Control and Display (CCD) module. DLI offers state of the art embedded testing that provides a clean up-grade path to solve physical access challenges resulting from new packaging technology.

Compatibility
DLI front-end design uses VHDL or Verilog languages. It works together with most commonly available synthesis tools.

Availability
The recently released version DLI - Leading Edge 1.3 is available for Windows through www.eecad.com on a monthly or yearly subscription basis or a perpetual license may be purchased at a list price of $2100. Technical support may be purchased through the e*ECAD website.
